The Contemplative Tulsan has some Random Thoughts

The Contemplative Tulsan is one of the blogs that I've recently starting following. Today he wanted to share some random thoughts.

Thought #2 - In the interim time between jobs, I've picked up some temporary work doing construction. I'm helping out on a remodeling project. I can tell that I've been sitting at a desk for far too long. I can feel the soreness when I get out of bed each morning. You know the great thing about doing construction? You can see what you accomplished at the end of each day. In my former job, it was pretty hard to tell in many cases whether you were making progress. It was all so ambiguous. When I leave this job, I can see that we built some shelves, we caulked x number of thresholds, we painted x number of rooms, etc. It's quite fulfilling.
