I am rather freaked out by this, and this.
At least with the first one I can mitigate my risk of loss by sleeping with this.

It has a 15 bullet clip, filled with 145-grain hollow point 9mm shells. Maybe someone will buy me a shotgun for Christmas...
Pump-action shotgun is the way to go, leaving a shell un-chambered.
