I just got a polling call from a group wanting to know how I felt about Dewey Bartlett, Jr., how I felt about Mayor Bill LaFortune, and whether or not I’d vote for Bartlett over LaFortune.
I indicated that I would vote for Bartlett over LaFortune. Of course I’d vote for Susan Savage over Bill LaFortune at this point…but I digress. It looks like Former City councilor Dewey Bartlett, Jr. is considering a run for Mayor of Tulsa…
***Update***
I spoke with someone today, whom I trust to be wise in these matters, whose first reaction to this news was disbelief. He thought that the real purpose of this poll was to determine LaFortune's viability in the next election and that Bartlett was “just a smoke screen.” I guess we will have to wait and see.
